Sabarimala services from Cochin.

As Sabarimala temple opens on 16 Nov 2020, devotees mandated to carry Covid negative certificate. Devaswom board and state government decided to allow devotees to enter the Sabarimala with strict restrictions and protocols near the temple premises. Pilgrims are mandated to produce Covid-19 negative and a medical certificate obtained within 24 hours showing that they are fit enough to go to Sabarimala darshan.

COVID-19 testing kiosks would be opened at Pampa and Nilakkal to help devotees to carry out the test before beginning the trekking. Apart from this, arrangements would be made by the health department to make antigen tests in various centres including, Nedumbassery Airport, all bus stations and railway stations at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, and Chengannur where pilgrims arrive to proceed to the Lord Ayyappa temple.
